My left rear turn signal went out so I ordered new brighter legs for both from Derek and Donna. Getting them installed and needed some clarification on a few things.

The manual says on Ridgeback models to remove the lock washer for the lower fender bracket to the transmission mount. Any ideas why? I only removed the one to the fender, should I unbolt the bottom one too and remove the lockwasher?

Also calls for Loctite 2440 and 2760..I assume the 2440 is Blue and 2760 is red loctite correct?

Lastly, for some reason there was a copper crush washer between the frame and strut where it mounts..doesn't show it on the parts diagram or anything. Any ideas why this was on there? It was only on the right side. Should I put it back or leave it off.

I would follow the instructions enclosed and give them a call. To discard the small lock washer may be the reason why you are asked to use Red Loctite. Once the red loctite is dry you will not need any lock washer.
