Strokers in Dallas, great visit

Since I have had my BDM (2 years now), I have always taken it into Iron lightning for service work. The last couple of visits have left a bad taste in my mouth and while I like the BDM dealer in OKC, I have yet to have a problem severe enough to drive over and let them do it.

Well, this last weekend, my ol lady and me rode do to see Rick Fairless and evaluate Strokers for possible future business. Mission completed...

First thing I noticed was that the place was busy, lots of people and a LOT of BDM bikes inside and out. I got to actually meet and talk to Rick Fairless for a couple of minutes and the guy was just as nice as if I had known him a long time.

Here's the good news - Strokers has maybe 15 to 20 Big Dogs (all models with emphasis on K9's of course). but even better, there were several 2011 models on the floor and they still look great.

I have now got wood for a 2011 speedo pod, it's beautiful. Hopefully it will be made available on older bikes. That would be an instand purchase for me.

BDM isn't the only brand, I saw Victory, Viper (WOW, 152 inch engine) as well as all of Ricks custom bikes, even the biker buildoff bikes.

I always like riding to Texas since it's the home of my club, so I see myself going back there frequently, even to just browse.

I encourage all you guys to visit them, it was a real treat.

I plan on stopping in this fall when I go and visit my mom. I'm pretty sure I won't leave empty handed...:D

I havent been there in a while. I like the place i use to stop in on my way to Houston for cancer treatments, maybe i will go in there this Oct. on my way home from Houston. I think i have a shirt for all eight days of the week, never had my bikes serviced there, but i have bought parts and was very pleased with the service. If i lived in Dallas that would be my weekend hangout no doubt.
