Meant to say wheel was off BEFORE we tightened the belt.I know torques are correct. The "professional" that helped tonight also was the one who helped with the earlier primary work and he was teaching me step by step. He is a PHD certified 20+ year Harley Tech. All values were adhered to. Tensioner is correct as well seeing as that was part of an earlier class with him and it was my test with this one to make sure it was right. Also the clutch adjustment is correct as well, that was about six lessons ago. Now for the transmission main shaft shim I am not really certain??? We never removed the pressed on spacer / race (requires puller) but the sprocket and chain assembly (front and rear were obviously removed) to get the inner off. Not sure as to what you are refering to. Also have ridden the bike a couple of hundred miles since we did all of this before the chirping. I will also tell you the wheel was a bit caddywhompass when we tightend the belt??? Measured off of dead middle of the axle to the rear of the frame and evened it out.
Live and learn.Yeah, don't do a top-end job like it did thinking it was my motor when all it was was the stupid tank vent tube![]()

Now I need to knock on wood!!!:bang:
