storing the bike

Is it ok to stabilize the gas run it for awhile then turn the gas off and let it die. In other words, is it ok to let the carb bowl run dry. Any other tips would be great.

Take battery out, store in a warm dry place . Charge it once a month - or trickel charge.

Well my winter storage involves a heated garage....run it once a week..... and keep it on a smart charger all winter. I put fresh gas in it when necessary. I use amsoil so I don't worry to much about an oil problem. But thats just me. O yea I also keep it up on a jack to take the weight off the tires.

Not if it gets really cold in the garage,I just pull my out,put it indoors and charge it every once in a while .
