Looking forward to retirement
Lock these bikes inside, even when I go to Rallies I put them in my trailer when I'm done for the night. Also put on Caliper alarm that will wake the dead! Noise & Siren = People!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your loss. Hate to say this, but chances are slim that it remains in one piece.

The thief will likely get more $$ from selling a 10 +/- year Big Dog in parts than you would get for the scoot in running condition. Too much demand among HD riders for S&S engines, Baker Transmissions, and Performance Machine brakes. Entire front end can be used on a Hog and the billet wheels are pricy even when used. The only parts that can be traced are the frame and engine case.

The market for a used Big Dog is incredibly bad. Too many out of work construction workers dumping toys they bought back then.

Will keep a look out for your scoot, but registration would be a huge issue for them.

Good luck.

That sucks, hope you find your bike and the SOB that took it. Will keep an eye out for it or parts from it.

Ya, that sucks big time. I'm glad I live in Redneck land where no one will mess with you or your property because either the owner or his dawgs will get ya. All 3 of my bikes are in the garage with the keys in them with the door open. I almost wish someone would come on my property at night because they wouldn't get very far... Good luck.

Mine had 2 unsuccessful attempts; wires were cut... mad as hell and felt like shit...
I feel your Pain!
-- since repaired like new. :)

I am sorry about your loss and will keep an eye out here on the West Coast
So many bikes out here -- you never know.

I am dealing with the insurance thing right now on a wreck... and hope they are fair with you!
so far insurance OK with me.

All the best to you!

(Assuming you do not get it back) -- what is your next move as far as another bike? :skep:

Suggest you keep an eye on all of the local craigslists, say in a 500 or 600 mile radius of your town. Never know, maybe that tank or the fenders will pop up somewhere which would give you a lead to pass along to the cops/insurance. Easy way to search ALL these craigslist sites at one time is with a website called - searchtempest.com - also handy to search for any purchases you may want to do also.

Defiantly keep an eye on craigslist, Ebay ect... for parts that might show up. I hope you get it back in good condition.
