Stock Frame - Vintage Classic

Does anyone know who BD used to manufacture their frames? Just more or less a curiosity kind of question. I was told it was Paughco..., but more specifically does anyone know the frame style for a vintage classic...here again I was told it was an FLT frame...

Thanks in advance!

There is a thread on here some place that tells you how to interpret a serial number. I know my Prosprort has a Daytec frame.

Some of the early Vintage frames we have were made by Chopper Guys. When Big Dog went out, they just made up Bills of sale for Chopper Guys frames.
I think Daytec came into play around 2000. Hope that helps.

Mr. Wright, were you able to find out about the frames?
I have a 99 BD vintage Classic and looking for accessories, Back rest, Hwy bars. Trying to find out if Harley stuff will fit and if so what frame style works. I dont mind a little mods here and there, but dont want to have to re chrome anything. Thanks for your time.

Early EVO flt's have been the best luck for me. Also the first couple of years for the road-king as in "wind shield and mounts". Have not been able to match a set of hwy. bars, to much of a shovelhead and evo mix in the frame.
