Stock foot controls '07 K-9

I'm looking a set of stock foot controls for my '07 K-9.

I'm just too damn short (6') to be comfortable with extended version the bike came with.

I can ride with them but there's very little bend in my knees. I really have to point my toes to upshift and with my leg up against the air cleaner I can just reach the brake. I can see it being uncomfortable in the long haul...

Im goin through the same shit right now. Jut put the 2.5" extended on. It feels great, I can reach, but getting the left foot under the shift lever is a diff story...

The shift side is a whole new piece, on the brake side it's just a plate and then you have the longer shift rod with the extended kit.

I put mine on when the 05's first came out and the original pieces have been sitting in my tool box for the last 4 yrs so..........

Easy to swap out though.

Yes, that is the shift side. On the brake side it just comes with a new plate that bolts to the frame. Plus a new shift rod.

There is also a brake line extension but I didn't use mine as I had enough slack without it.

I'll see if I can dig up a picture of the plate on the brake side.

I have to run and get my 1st grader out of school but when I get home I'll post a picture of all the parts that come with the kit or really it's the short parts after installing the extension!!

Here is what is replaced to put on the extensions. One shift control, a plate that extends out the brake control, shift arm and brake line extension.
These parts are the stock parts except for the brake line extension that I didn't use.

Damn Ray, I thought you were going to go get your first grader so I would have someone on my own level to explain this to me! :lol:

Don't mean to be so dumb but the Big Dog is new to me and there's no one around here to ask about this stuff. Sent an email to my local BD dealer about getting a service manual and they didn't even do me the courtesy of a response. :down:

I'm not sure I want to trade away my extension setup since I'm not positive I'll like the stock position better. At this point I'd prefer to buy a stock set outright so my options remain open.

If you'd like to sell me your stuff give me a price...
