How many dB's make the stock exhaustsystem of a 2007 K-9? Is there a big noisedifference between the stock exhaust and the V&H 2 into 2 big radials?What is the permitted noise in the USA, like in The Netherlands its 83 measured by a driveby test.

It is a State by State limit and Louisiana doesn't have a limit

I think California is the most limiting!

Of course not,

the US does have a complete different system from ours here in the EC .

You will never get that V&H street legal - no way. You will need that E-number on your exhaust.

The few Big Dogs that made their way through the official importer had 2 cats in each stock exhaust . The engines never ran well so.

Hi Jochen,
I was just wondering if the stock exhaust is less louder than the V&H Big Radials. In Holland cops normally are not chasing bikes with loud pipes, and don't look if the exhaust has a E-number......but if the stock pipes are less loud it might be usefull to have them in the garage, just in case......
I hope I will get my german license coming week, the TÜV-man was on vacation last week and gave me another nervewrecking week to wait......
