No one seems to know the filter number for the wolf... I was hoping to get a re-usable one... No luck with JP Cycles or K&N sales rep

I ordered K&P filter from Valuetek for my wolf... Haven't got it yet... Anyone else using it for the Xwedge?

You have a hybrid in the Wedge motor but I'm pretty sure it still uses the common filter. E-3226

I wish I had more money.
Wouldn't the filter that's in it have a part number on it one could use to cross reference?

I got the part number from S&S (#106-4722) called K&N and they felt confident that the #E-3226 was a match.

Thanks for all your help... nice to have Dog Owners to bounce things off of... haven't had a chance to ride it much, since I just bought it... winter here in OH... but I love the feel of it with the little I have ridden it.

K&N wants you to grind down the fins on your intake backplate to accommodate the smaller size of their filter... Definitely not doing that... I put two small notches on the inside of the filter without damaging the outer ring or the fiber mesh and it sat in there flush... Put a bead of grease on both sides of the filter and all is well... Curious to see what the difference will be from the stock filter... They said no re-mapping is necessary... What do you guys think?
