I just wanted to publicly thank StlMikie and Wild Steed Worx for getting my 04 Ridgeback on the road again.
I bought my bike in October and by December the battery was dead and the starter was shot. Bought a new battery and the bike just chugged and chugged and wouldn't start. I'm a newb to carb bikes so I did what friends told me to do which was go after spark and fuel.
Replaced the spark plugs and bam, same thing, chug chug chug, no
Fire.
StlMikie came over and did a diagnostic. His conclusion was the starter was bad.
Sent the starter off to Wild Steed Worx and they did a great job rebuilding the starter. There were some shipping issues that weren't really their fault, they ce through for me with amazing results and I will be sending friends and family to them.
StlMikie took time out of his day after work and lent his garage to my mess of a bike and got her back on the road.
So thank you to both of you for helping me in this struggle and I won't forget it.
