Sterling Chromite plug wires

Just wanted to let everyone know that I installed a set of new sterling chromite plug wires the other day on my pitbull and everything is AOK. I know this was a concern of mine since I had heard that aftermarket plug wires do not work on our scoots. However these plug wires look awesome and most importantly have no adverse effects on performance.

it never was a performence issue other than the fact that it effects complete use of the EHC

I've been using the braided Chromites on both of my hogs for a couple of years now, have never looked back...

Did you get a "universal" kit and fabricate your own, or were you able to order one of the part numbers (JP Cycles, Drag, CC) that happens to fit Big Dogs?

Does anyone out there have a set installed on a "07" Bulldog? If so, what's the Magnum Sterling Chromite P/N's to place an order.

Thanks!

Magnum Custom Spark Plug Wires

I sent an email to Magnum Shielding...

The reply was that they do not make a "stock" set for Big Dogs, but their web site does have a chart for putting together a set.

Fill in the blanks and FAX it to'em - (585) 381-9956
Or order on line.

Here's the link:

Put a set on last week and bike rode like hell. I had lights flashing speedo was jumping from 70 mph to 0. I was glad pig pen was carring an extra set of wires under his seat, switched them back at the bar and bike ran great again. The wires looked real sharp but wtf... If you own a set I would keep my stock wires under my seat just in case. It could have fucked up a good ride. I have a brand new set of Blue wires with 5 miles on them going cheap if anyone knows of some one that can use them. I don't recommend them for the Big Dogs!

your welcome Doug. Why was I the one buying the brew?
Because I was the one trying to avoid my wifes drunk ass uncle who I'm sure doesn't remember seeing us at the bar! You gotta give him some credit, 60 years old and chasing the 21 year old tail around the bar, hell ya what a stud! Glad I wasted $50 on useless wires, had to give it a try, they sure looked good for my 10 minute ride. Live and Learn!!! I'm sure some one will post up and say they told me so.
