Nawww, got it years ago when I hill climbed and dabbled in boat racing and all things off road, I used to tell ppl I had a "near stock (fill in the blank) thern when they met me and saw my toys they always said that is not so stock. So, Knot is a word play on the nautical word knot and So, and just combined em. The wife does seem to offer it up a lot though.

I got my 2 up seat from them off eBay a while back.
Nothing fancy like your.
Factory style 2 up with bdm logo and gel inserts.
They were very easy to deal with.
The seat is holding up good. There is a small half round impression that is starting to become visible on the passenger part, looks like maybe a flap of material underneath? Other than that it is good.
Very comfortable too.

Wow Knotso I agree that has got to be the best seat ever and just put sterlings number down to call today.I also have an 06 Mastiff and I believe they had the worst seat of all the dogs as far as comfort goes. Gotta get one .

I have the stock single seat and this custom stock 2 up from Sterling.
This seat gets so many compliments and is so freaking comfortable I leave it on the scoot full time.
The stock single is now on a high shelf in the garage and no longer gets any lovin.

One year later and all I can say is the ride just gets better n better!
The Sterling seat stays on most of the time except when commuting to/from work as I do not trust all who have access to the area.
The Sterling Seat is breaking in well and is far more comfortable then the BDM stocker.
Normally the Harley crowd will pretend not to notice the Big Dog, but with this seat on I get a lot of em wanting to start the conversation with questions about the seat, "I had my seat re done by (fill in the blank) and yours looks far better", and "did a local shop do the seat?" yup, just a phone call or an email and you can have one here in 3 days. "They only do them for custom bikes?". No, Sterling will do one for whatever you ride.
Then come the bike comments...
The passenger seat area is wider and flatter than the old P pad and thus my camping duffle bag rests comfortably and is easy to secure for the overnight trips.
Overall first year impression? Outstanding!

Another year later and while I ride in the rain a lot, the seat still looks new and is still comfortable. Not once did I use my stock solo seat in 2012.
