Steering Head/Forks

There are two threaded holes in the fork plates that mount to the steering head - one above and one below. I noticed I have a set screw in the lower, but nothing in the upper.

What are these for/What do these do?

Should I have a set screw in the upper?

Thats to lock the neck axle to the forks when you set the fall rate

Ray is right again. The top one keeps the axle from unscrewing and the bottom one keeps the adjusting screw from coming loose. Clean the threads up and use some blue lock tite on your new stainless steel set screws.

I'm surprised since you changed the rake and trail with 0 degree offset trees.
