Stator Question

I started to replace the stator on my 06 Mastiff. Now I have a few questions. The replacement that I bought on Ebay from shovelheadkicker mentions that the washers that come with the until are not needed on 2005 to 2011. Now mine have rwo already on there. Should I leave them on there? The nut was loose on the rotor and tore up the rotor. Had to find another lock screw for the connector cause that was missing. Also the inspection cover has like a o-ring gasket. Can I use a full gasket instead? Other than that life is good.

Was that second washer in behind the stator magnet

The first washer was behind the big fat nut. Pulled the rotor off and the second washer was in front of the seal? I think that's whats it called. I'm kind of concerned because someone was working on it before. No red loctite, the nut was loose, the little screw that holds in the connector was gone. So not sure about the washers. What holds the second washer in place? The rotor when it's tight?

That gasket looks good to me. If it wasn’t leaking don’t change it.

Nope. No leaks. And I see where the second washer goes. The inside of the rotor you can see the mark. All good.
