Just giving a heads up to anyone who might be having trouble with their Big Dog Charging System...my 05 Pitbull on had 4000 miles on it when I got it in November. I've ridden it a handful of times on good rides since. I get down to Myrtle Beach last Monday and the charging system took a crap...now this is After Redoing the ENTIRE (so I thought) charging system components with all brand new parts... (Stator, Volt Regulator, Battery) so to make a long story short I spent half the week charging the battery at night and riding the next day until the battery drained. And doing it all over again all the while all these "Experts" telling to do this and that...The Stator Magnet (Rotor) was what I kept suggesting and but they said no...online research says if it looks good it is good because they "Never" stop working unless you see physical damage which I didnt...so I finally got fed up and bought a "Harley" Rotor that matched up and she barking again...so the moral is always go with your instinct...Rotor Magnets can go bad for whatever reason at anytime no mater how they look...
