I was riding the other day back from ROT, and I was trying to think if you took a left hand control and flipped it why wouldn't it work for ther right side? Instead of pushing High/Low lights it will be Run/OFF etc. How would the board know the difference?

OK this statement Im going to get shit for.....

It may be the wrong slam button. It may be pushing it too deep and gets hung up. The outside cap fits but the plunger (When you push it) goes too far and gets hung up. The spring inside will wear out and wont return the plunger

Sorry no other way to put that except

I have always started my bike that way (Hit the Stop, Hit the Run, Hit start)

But now instead of hitting start (PCBoard bad) I hit the slam button

I could use a right hand pcb too mine works but there is no clicky clicky for blinker and have to push hard.

Won't work cause the right side has the black lead coming off for the brake light

ok I can push the whole start / stop button in and it closes the circuit and fired up, then shut down. Now no spark at the the spark plugs at all. Would the open circiut on the start button mess up the EHC in not allowing the plugs not to get spark to them ?

Does anyone know where I can purchase a slam button for my starter? My right side circuit board has quit running. Right now I have ran a new hot wire straight to my starter coil that I hold momentarily to start the bike. It works, but I'd like something better. A new circuit board would be awesome.

I have a 2004 mastiff that had the same starting issues. It came down to the bolts on the battery leads were loose. You can grab the battery cable to see if loose, seemed tight. Put a wrench to it turned less than a quarter turn. It would then start. I have used the blue thread lock it helps. But I carry a 10 mm wrench just in case. It use to take two three tries to start. In my case I put smaller jets in and now it starts on first try. The other day I pushed start button every thing went dead. Battery tender got unplugged. Charged battery all is good. I know you checked the ground. But would check the positives side as well. I thing I learned from here start simple. I was going to try that starter jump button. Never got it. At this time I don't think I personally need it.
