Starting problem

Since installing a wires-plus unit in my 2004 Chopper....yesterday after riding about 100 miles in 90 degree heat, the bike failed to start when pressing the start button....eventually it did fire up...if the starter gets hot, will this cause the bike not to start? Thanks for any help? Dogasm

when I hit the start button, nothing happens....I let the bike sit for a moment or two and then re-try.....It will eventually fire up.

You're not pushing the run switch before trying to start it are you? Just saying...
