Hey guys. I was caught in a hard rain storm the other day, bike in the parking lot at work. 2004 Pitbull with stock ign module and EHC. After my meeting and between showers I dried the seat and bars and hit the start button and got a click. Pulled seat to check battery and all under seat seemed to be dry. Trailered it home and dried it out as much as I could, EHC, bar controls, etc. I still get a click from the starter but sometimes not even that, nothing but lights. If I do get a starter click the lights will go dim and very slowly come back to bright but still nothing on the starter. I get no light on TH module either when hitting starter. Put the battery on big charger shows 13.5v. I looked for a thread but didnt see one right off. Checked the other dog in the garage and EHC lights are identical with key on. Talked to Steve at Bikers Dream, have used them many times before, and he said bad EHC. Could be yes but strange that I rode it 10 miles to work and after a hard rain it wont start. I have washed it many times and been caught in rain before and it still ran. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
