Starting Issues 2007 Big Dog Bulldog

I just installed a brand new battery on my
2007 Big Dog Bulldog 117 S&S
When you press the run button, that works as it should, When you hit the start button, The bike acts like it wants to start and a second afterwards the horn beeps and NOTHING.

Very strange

Any help is greatly appreciated

Even though it's a new battery you should make sure it is fully charged (12.8 vdc at rest) and also double check the connections and verify they are clean and tight. The starting system on Big Dogs demands that all is healthy or it will bite you in the ass every time. After you get the bike running check your charging system. Should read between 13.5 and 14.5 while running off of idle.

Thanks man ill double everything. Ill also check it once i get it and running with the volts.

That's a common issue when the battery is low. Horn would blow and sometime's the 4 way's would blink.
