This starter has a updated front sealed bearing and drive to stop the common problem that these Big Dog starters have of leaching oil into the starter from the transmission.

This starter is a direct replacement for Big Dog Choppers.

High torque 2.0kw this starter includes test curve printout these starters are made to meet all of Big Dog specs.

This is a good price for a starter that should eliminate the starter leaking problem, although in the discription it should read: Starters leaching oil from the primary not the transmission.

I got one from shovelheadkicker on ebay. I won the auction last week and got it for $131. I have seen them go for less. The week before the winner paid $191. These are rebuilt and come with a 30 day return. I figure if I have a spare I can rotate out the bad one and have a local shop fix it. This way I have no down time.
