can someone give me the link for the starter switch some of you have installed on your starter??i did the search and cant find it...

Are you talking about the manual plunger solenoid that you can replace the stock one with? JP Cycles has them as well as parts for solenoids.:up:

Jimizee-- I ordered this one. MC Advantages :: Starter Button For 1.0kw, 2.0kw, 2.4kw, 2.6kw and Big Dog® Starters ... and it didn't even come close to fitting!!!! Emailed them but had to come back to work before I sent it back to them. May wanna get some measurements on the bolt pattern to tell them so they can send you the right one. Not sure bu BDM may have used dif starters on dif model or years......

theres a post on this forum of several guys that bought one from a specific supplier,i know it wasnt J&P or Drag Specialtie or one of the catalog companies,i thought i had favorited it knowin damn well i would need this thing eventually and come to find out i didnt .....so now i am lookin for the company the different few had got it from

I don't think I would put one on, a friend had one and I wanted to see how it worked, he pressed it and the button got stuck and the starter kept on turning he tried to pull the button back out with his fingers :roll: but couldn't get a good grip :bang:, ran to his toolbox to grab some long nose pliers and pulled it out, pissed off he pulled that sucker right off that right there gave me one reason not to install one....
