starter

I think i need a starter i press the start button the starter clicks. i put it on a charger anr tryed to jump it with my car still clicks. no loose connections. i have lights ect.

will a aftermarket starter work on a05 ridgeback

if you tried to tighten the cable ends of the starter, you may have rotated the contacts on the inside of the starter and lost about 75% of the contact surface area.
