Can anyone tell me how to remove and install a starter on a 05 chopper DT. I had one put on several years ago when I first got it. I still have the old starter sent it to Wild Steed Worx to be rebuilt. But I don't know how to install it when it gets back. I looked on the How To's: Form and could not find anything. Any help will be appreciated.

Bear With Me I Am Doing This From My Phone. Two Long Allen Bolts Hold The Starter In Place They Will Line Up With Your Primary. Your Positive Battery Cable Will Mount To The Rear Allen Bolt. Your Neg Battery Cable Will Mount To The Starte Post. Your Ignition Wire Is To The Top Of The Starter Mount. I Cant Remember The Torque Values For The Two Allen Bolts Think It Was 18 Ft Lbs From Memory. Make Sure The Starter Lines Shaft Lines Up With The Fly Wheel On Your PrimarY. I Dont Have My Manual With Me On Deployment Just Trying To HelP. This Was From Memory Which Isnt Worth AShit Anymore.

You have to remove your tranny cover and may require removing your exhaust. Remove side cover.
Disconnect battery then cable to starter. Pull green wire and that's about it. On my 05 with the new PDM battery box I have to lift it.
