So that’s not the problem. Sounds like you ruled out the coil and cam sensor as culprits. What ignition do you have on your bike?

I changed out the old ignition switch on the dash with a new one from J&P couple weeks ago because I had to jiggle the hand switch. So I replaced it one contact at a time from old one to new one. Also put a new battery on it. DEKA ETX20L. I also still have the dash removed and I just wonder if the 2 wire switch that sets under the speedometer might be bad.

Also after hooking up that new battery, I also checked the 7.5 amp fuse on the battery charger plug and it's good continuity.. I topped off the new battery to 12.8v. it turned over motor really good but still no spark

I went ahead and ordered new Moroso 8mm plug wires yesterday from bigdogpartsking. Com.. not to get ahead of myself but just if that doesn't fix the problem, will go ahead and take the gas tank off again and check a two post self resetting circuit breaker that sits on the frame just below speedometer. I'm just not sure which amp rating it is, either 25A. Schematic shows it as CB2 kill switch/ignition coil or CB3 Ignition switch/main power. However, all lights, including break lights, head light, tail, horn, & blinkers all work. Will let you know

Well, I replaced spark plugs wires and still have no spark. Do have good voltage going into the coil. I rechecked and ohmed Red Green and black pins from the plug and ground to sensor plate and NO Continuity. And Green to black and got 650k ohms. I show 12.7V going to coil and 12.7v on the other end too. That's a 3OHM single fire coil. It's a green DYNA Coil with dark pink wire to input on left of coil and on the right end post is a dark blue wire and a white with red stripe wire both on same post. Key switch works and stop/run switch works. Maybe it's the sensor in the nose cone. Even hooked test light from positive side of battery and probed right side of coil while cranking and no flashing light on test probe. Seems it would show that it was "cycling" but nothing.
