Well got the magic CLICK nothing…… turn off. turn on. press off press run. press start. CLICK… time to take apart a starter…….AGH! I tell ya how it ends.

When your in love with a stripper…..your gonna’ pay. and don’t expect any love back.

I just got this same thing 1 hour ago. Was riding with my CMA Chapter out of Nashville. About a dozen of u s to meet up with about 50 other bikes for aa annual church visit. Road Captain pulled over with a minor shift linkage problem. We start to leave and that is just what I could not do... start. click click. I new the past 2 or 3 days the starter was dragging but my 3 week old battery would fire it off. I'm a former HD mechanic for years and still do on the side for friends. Yesterday ignition key fell out. Today starter. 3 weeks ago battery. Common items for large 4 1/8" piston to give a hard time. .. battery and starter. Ain't nothing $$$ and 1 hour wrenchen can't fix. Hopefully I can get one shipped to me by Wednesday or Thursday. I've got a couple of other bikes coming to me.
Thank God I was on a hill earlier. My brothers gave a big push and I got Ruby home without any other problems. Bummer I couldn't make it to the church. I did about half the ride on the old Nachez Trace Hwy Santa Fe, TN. Nice ride I missed and with good brothers and sisters.
