starter is throwing sparks

well I went to start my 2007 K9 and its just making a loud winding noise and the starter is throwing sparks on the first intial one to two seconds when I first push the start button.....its not cranking over its just throwing sparks and making a winding niose . Does anyone know what this might be thanks guys

Sorry brew I just posted my intro.......does anyone know what my problem could be

I would start with the simple first. Make sure all connections and mount bolts are tight, they can vibrate loose...:2thumbs:

Thanks brew....I woke up this morning and took abetter look and the bolt broke off completely....the damn start was just hanging and is not grounded which explains the sparking.....already working on it.....thanks bro
