DAMN! I'm glad I know what wrenches are for.so I CAN FIX my own shit.

Look, these are not peddle bikes, they over priced toys. You bought yours, not me.
You made the choice to buy a BIG DOG custom motorcycle. You ride like you want, easy, hard or just beat the shit out of it.
Most of what I have read is a bunch of cry babies who can't turn a wrench, read a tape measure, little lone a micrometer
and have to pay people like me because all they have is money and an ego, go figure.

So in closing, grow up, shut up and ride your bike. If you can't that's your tough shit, start eating.

MY 2 cents for 2016!

BTW, I ride almost every day on MY BIG DOG chopper. It was 30 degrees today with 15-20 mph winds.

thank you and good night

fire away, I can take it cuz I work for a living.

What a dumb post, presumably suited to the author. You know very little about the talent of the folks who have responded.

It also takes money to purchase the parts and time. None of which has much to do with what's is right and wrong with the design.

I do a bunch of my own work on both bikes and cars, but my ego isn't so big that I don't know where to draw the line. Once it gets to a certain point, I call a professional. Just like anyone who works for a living you are paid because you are supposed to be a professional or at least good at something. Bragging about being good at something is like bragging about being alive. It's what your supposed to do. Be good at something that provides value to a community. Pretty sure I'm not impressed that you can do everything yourself. That's one thing you can do, perhaps there are more, but I doubt you can build a global, enterprise software system that over 50 million people use everyday bringing in about $8 billion (that's a B) a year (see how stupid it sounds to brag). If you can, then great. You are indeed a gift to humanity. :job:

So, go ahead and measure your dick. I'll go ahead and measure the number of 0's at the end of my bank accounts. Then, I'll measure my dick and let you hold the ruler.

FYI - Not a normal response for me, but it's a new year and I felt like giving something different a try. :oldcool:
Touche my friend, touche!!

WOW... Yeah, my K9 had about 7K miles on it when I had to send my transmission back to Baker for a rebuild. I also lost my clutch basket, and it was eating clutch cables like they were vitamins. Since then, I've gotten their transmission upgrade, ball and ramp assembly upgrade and an updated clutch pack from Baker. Since then, I've put about 10K miles in, and she runs like a champ--STILL! Sorry that you got shafted for that much coin, but I paid about that much in labor and a Baker RSD rebuild and shipping costs.

So anyways.................................

My rep got back to me and has verified that the Carriers are now being made from billet.
They ran out of the cast units and don't want to have a thousand made just to have them in stock.
No price increase though so thats a good thing.
Thanks Kapt, ya just broke up the party right when I was gonna break out the cookies and my heels. and got us back on track:oldbang::oldfight::oldhardlaugh::oldhardlaugh:

That's good news. Thanks for the update.

As a side note, I'm going to be ordering some aftermarket mirror adapters and riser bushings from you in the near future.
