Just bought a 2006 K9 with very low miles on it. The bike had no battery so I installed a new battery and tried to start...for the first several trys to start it turned over fine. Then all of a sudden when I push the start button it turns over once then stop and the horn blows once....its almost like this thing has gone crazy! What would could I check to fix the problem? The right rear turn signal also doesn't work now.....

What ever you do DON'T try to start it with the charger connected or try to jump start it. EHC could blow out!
Was it a factory filled battery or did you have to fill it when it was bought?
If you filled it, then it is only 70% charged. Charge it over night and try it again.
The battery must have at least 12.8 volts after off the charger an hour to work reliably.

The battery came pre-charged and I placed it on a trickle charger for a day or two. So while I did that I did some research on the bike and come to find out it was bought previously at auction and they hooked a truck to it and was tring to jump it off.......YEP! They fried the EHC unit.......so I have replaced it with the "Wires Plus" replacement unit and the bike is running like a champ!!!
