standard forward controls

Does anyone have a extra set of forward control brackets for a K-9 they would part with . It appears that the new k9 I bought has extended controls.

Could someone take a measurment for the shift side controls. Maybe from the front edge of the rear fender strut to the center of the peg at the clevis. That could help to know exactly what I have. Looking at the pictures of other K9s the peg is behind the down tubes.

If your shift rod is 12 1/4 long you have the standard length controls. If your shift rod is 15 1/2 you have the extended reach controls. Measure the ROD ONLY:2thumbs:

I am a short guy but this did seem longer that my Ridge back. I always thought the k9 was a shorter reach

Can't speak to which reach is shorter or longer between the Ridge and the K-9 but you have the extended reach now. Go with the standard and you will be more comfortable:2thumbs:

Are yours chrome or polished?

Brand new polished. All that is needed is the plate from the brake side, shift rod and the housing on the shift side.
