stalling

i need some help, i have a 05 ridgeback 117 the problem is the bike will shut off for no reason , the horn will beep and the flashers will come on.i turn the bike off and it will start right back up. it did it for the first time yesterday and i rode 80 miles after with no problem, today it happenned twice once on the way , and once on the way back , 20 miles round trip , i dont have a ownsers manual and i dont know what it is trying to tell me, i got it last year and it was know problem, it is not my main bike, this site is great and i hope someone with more knowlage on the dogs can help thanks in advace

Check your battery and charging system first. Some 05 and 06 had recalls on the voltage regulators. The fix was to remove the circuit breaker and install a fuse in line back to the battery. With bike running you should be getting 14.2 volts back to the battery. Bad or weak batteries screw up a lot of stuff on these bikes.
