Has anyone had any dealings with SC recently? I have called and emailed them with no success. With MC businesses or just businesses in general going belly up I thought I would pole the forum for answers.

I'm looking to get a few questions answered and thought my fellow members could offer some incite.

Looking at either the Chaos II or III- partial to the III. Would be mounted to a 08' Ridgeback

Any issues dragging?

Brackets braking due to vibration especially on a hard tail?

How far will they stick out from the bike frame? The bikes already wide with the 330 rear tire and stock exhaust. When your stopped at a light the exhaust will leave a mark if your not paying attention. I have a rain suit that has several holes in it from the stock exhaust now.

What options are offered with these pipes?

I know there are tons of pictures and treads out there and believe me I have spent a lot of time trying to do some of this research on my own and I greatly appreciate any input that you may have.

If anyone has pictures of either of these pipes I would love to see some multiple angle shots.

I recently bought some Chaos II from him......they are wide and you have to pay attention or it gets real hot real quick.....sounds is really nice. Mine are new so I have not put enough miles to comment on cracks etc. I think Ray has gone through a few sets....cool pipes to me.

Thanks guys. I appreciate all the input.

I just knocked the plugs out of the stockers to get me by for a little while until i get something else.

I hate throwing money away so I want to make and informed decision when picking out my new exhaust.

Most folks here like them....I attached a few pics of my 05 Ridgeback with Chaos II's. Someone has a good sound bite on here with SC pipes....


Keep us posted with what you get and post pictures in the "show your exhaust" thread...

Bracket for Chaos II

One of the guys on the forum asked to see some pics of the attach bracket for the Chaos II from SC.

See attached.....I think this is the weak spot that fails if you ride like Ray does:cheers:

OH Thanks Ray!!! Was really wanting to know that before getting some. I was kind of worried if only 1 pipe was attached to bracket that the other pipe would be free floating.

If you get some just make sure the bolt that goes into the transmission is long enough. Mine stripped out my threads! Damn things. :D
