Got my pipes a couple days ago. I chose the CHAOS III's with ceramic coating internally and Big City Thunder Baffles. I went with these pipes cuz of the looks and recommendations from other members of this site. I should have them on this week...will post pics. For those that are interested, here is what you get...

Kool, enjoy them and the rich deep sound they will provide. I've had two sets of them (different styles). Keep them clean as they are a bitch to polish after a while.

Did you install those baffles? Are they true Big City thunders?
According to Stainless Creations, they are Big CIty Thunders (says so on website also.) Since I paid to have internal ceramic coating, Clint did the baffles for nothing. They installed them. I should hopefully have them on this weekend.

What Clint does is sleeve the baffles since the largest Thunder baffles are only 2 1/4" so they fit his larger pipes. Then he bends the pipes. This way the baffles fit the pipes properly.

That's the thing Ray. It don't look like that. Perhaps cause its the adjustable style BCT?

Well, I agree they don't look like the BCT's but maybe that's why he got them free!
I'll see if I can find a pic of my BCT's in my SC pipes.

I bought my Big City Thunder Monster baffles directly then shipped them to Clint and he sleeved them up to fit the pipes when he made them for me.
You can see the sleeve in the picture. Either way the ones DrMOJO have are basically the same thing. :D

On my latest Stainless Creations pipe (Wrath) I did the ole washer trick on it. Works great.

Dave-
I love the look of those pipes on your bike. You and Ray (based on your posts and pics) got me diggin' on the Stainless Creation pipes. Can't wait to get them on.

The baffle they installed certainly looks different from Ray's which he bought from BCTB. I am going to assume the performance and sound should be the same or damn close.

Thanks dude! I think you will be happy with them....

I was always curious as to how a little washer or electrical ring could provide enough back pressure to make a difference. Baffles in the stock BD exhaust are enormous, fiber wrapped tubes that would seem to make entirely too much pressure. I know they are there for regulations and sound dampering but a tiny washer seems like it wouldn't do anything. Just me wondering.

Picked the bike up from the dealer this weekend after having them install intake and SS Chaos IIIs. I am really happy with the sound...they sound great! However...the arc of the pipes were off a little. I figured I would "tweek" them when I got home to straighten them out. Well, in order to align the arc of the pipes, the lower pipe sits right on the clutch cable just before it goes into the tranny. I dicked around with the pipes for about an hour and there is no way they will line up without touching the clutch cable. Other problems: pipes not bent the way I asked (I asked to have the tips rolled out to the side like the Chaos IIs), the head of the bolt securing thunder baffle is visible on the lower pipe (I would think they would have drilled on the back where it would not be seen), bracket doesn't line up with the pipes--not even close (my wrench told me the bolt they sent for the bracket was bent, he had to replace it--didn't look bent to me when I saw the bracket however), I was told I was going to get polish for the pipes---guess what, no polish.

Overall, I really like the pipes and these are the ones I would like to stay with. The sound is fuggin' awesome and quality of craftmanship is actually very good. Design problems are the hangup right now. For $950, I expect to have a set of pipes that fit well.

I am thinking the pipes need to be remade. I am hoping Stainless Creations stands behind their products. I will give them a call tomorrow to find out. I will keep you all informed.
