Squeeking noise

[Jersey Bro]

Have squeeking noise thats driving me nuts.
It's not in the front brakes or front end or clutch!
Sometimes it squeeks and sometimes it don't.
Can't figure it out or find where its coming from.
Anybody ever experience something like this?

Drive belt.....

04 did not teflon coat the pulley so it will squeak. I periodically put some teflon based chain lube on my belt. It's made by Dupont you can find it anywhere Home Depot or Walmart.

Squeaking can also be coming from loose top motor mount. If loose, remove bolts holding it, Put Red Loctite on threads, and torque to spec.

Gotta eliminate the wheel rotation then. The would be more like a bearing swap. Like driving a car, you turn in one direction, no noise. Steer in the other, noise.

Sit on bike with engine running. So as bike does not fall on you, or have a spotter for this. Angle the engine as if making a turn to the left. Swap to the right. Did you hear anything with just narrowing down the engine?

Bar of soap rubbed on the inside and outside edge of the belt should make it stop for a while.....

If its the belt then its probably not aligned. My 04 ridgeback drove me crazy until I took the time to line up the rear pulley now I have no more issues

When it gets bad enough, take her down for the winter and send your rear pulley to Supermax for an overhaul. Did mine and love it.
