Long story short, the dealer found nothing wrong with the sputtering issues I was getting :bang: :bang: ...they also said the cold air may have something to do with the sputtering...that doesn't make sense to me
...
I've concluded it has something to do with my spike air filter...I get the same sputter when I'm warming up the bike, and if I"m too aggressive with the throttle, a cloud of gas will spit out of the air filter, and the bike will shut-down...that's what I'm feeling in 2nd and 3rd gear sometimes, except the bike won't shut down.
Anyhow, I called around and one dealer mentioned something very interesting....he said to remove the 1/2 inch screw (alan wrench screw) underneath the carb....he said, with these high performance air filter, it creates a strong vaccum, and by removing the screw it would give it some relief...has anyone heard of this, or has done this before? Any suggestions will greatly help...thanks
