onaprwl how many miles you got on that front end? I had two come past me, both had badly worn/egged out bushings down in the rockers with less than 3k miles on them. Bourget claimed there's a retrofit kit but I was never able to get one.

i absolutely love the look of a springer front end.if its just a bar hopper its great.i had a harley bad boy and 200 mile rides with the springer front end was not always pleasant.they look awesome i just dont care for them on long rides with bumps.

Probably somewhere around 5000. Rides much better than it did with factory front end. Bike is now about 7" longer than factory.

I put a new style Paughco springer on mine, had the damper shock and floating fender mounts. Haven't been disappointed yet!

Anybody that studies about the way front ends works has to agree at the angles needed for rake and trail to work rite can not disagree that a springer or girder is the only way to go not to mention they look way cooler on a long bike.

Watch that fender... Mine got caught in the wheel on a dip and dumped my ass on the pavement. Bent the front forks and Paghco sent me 8k to fix the bike plus an new springer. Sold that sucker as fast as I could. I'd take the fender off.
