spike filter install

i'm putting on a spike filter and have a question on the crankcase breather. my breather tube is 5/16" and the support bracket has a nipple on it that is only about 3/16" or less. will it be ok to reduce it to the smaller diameter from the one way valve at the top of motor where it comes out from under the head to the nipple on the support. or do i just route it to bottom of motor maintaining the 5/16" and dumping on ground or puke can and cappin the nipple?

As they said and it won't busy up your intake system. You can get breathers that are about 1 1/2" daimeter with the 5/16 nipple if ya want to keep the dirt dobbers out of the line.

Yea, you can vacume caps at Advance, Autozone, etc.
