Speedometer

I have a 01 big dog husky. The speedometer moves but appears to be off by about 10 mph (reading slower than actual speed). The mileage works sometimes but sometimes it cuts out but speedometer still works and reads mph. All of the indicator lights come on and work properly. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

Speedometer - Big Dog or not?

I just joined the forum, and haven't figured out to start a new thread so i hoping this will caught someones attention to my question besides trying to figure out how to enter a new thread? On my 1999 big dog bull dog the speedometer does say big dog on the face dial mounted to the tank nor does it have the electronic mileage indicator. Is it possibly because of the age BDM didn't have there own speedometer? The tank mount for the speedometer has a vent hole for resetting the mileage. Thanks for your help!

Look at the header bar at the top and click on forums. It will give you a list of subs pick one that is relevant and you will see a small box at the top left hat says "new thread", click on it and you are off and running. Hope this helps. Welcome from Suffok, Va.
