Hi. I have another question for you Big Dog Scientists. I own a 2007 Big Dog K9. I keep hearing a chattering noise from the front end when I am riding. The dealer said he didn't hear anything when he rode it. However, I know something is making this noise, and I am pretty sure it is the speedometer. I recall reading that some people on this board also mentioned a chattering or clicking sound coming from their speedometers. I would like to disconnect the speedometer in order to determine for certain whether or not the speedometer is making the noise. Is this a difficult thing to do? I am mechanically inclined, but should I leave this to the mechanics? Also, if the speedometer is the problem, is it something I can fix, or should I let the mechanics deal with it. I thought that the speedometer was fully electronic with no moving parts--or does it contain moving parts that can make noise if there is a problem with it? Does the cable connected to the speedometer contain only wiring, or does it contain a spinning cable like the "older" speedometers? Thanks so much for your help guys, as I'm really getting to dislike the stealers lately!!! Peace--Brock
