It's inside the sealed speedometer housing? You can break it apart and fix it or buy a new speedo. Some on here have broken the casing apart and fixed broken wires themselves but it's not something that will be easy.

Rhino;

The speedo board on the '04 and later has the LED's built onto the board. It would be very odd for all three to die--it would also be a pain to replace them at the board level. Your '02 may have a totally different set-up. Good luck!

Im sure you've aready found the problem, since this post was in October, but my '02 Pitbull loses the lights in the speedo about every 1000 miles or so. You'll have to pull your plastic center section off (make sure all the broken pieces of this center-section that have been glued & re-glued do not fall off), unbolt your speedo housing from behind. there's a big ring around the speedo itself, which acts like a large nut to hold the speedo to the chrome housing. You shoulld now just have the raw speedo with the pigtail coming out the back. Now take the speedo apart & you'll see 2 glass bulbs, one on the left & one on the right, both are available at any auto parts store. I recommend buying spares also!

My lights went out, it was because the wires on the rear left fender rubbed and were shorting out.
