Speedometer Flash

Many of you with the 05 - 07 or so that suffer from speedometer problems may be able to fix them if you have the USB style EHC connectors. What you dealer can do it flash your EHC so that the speedo starts up again when the bike is started.
This can only be done though if you have the EHC with the USB connnector. The serial port style EHC can't be done.
Here is a short vid on what flashing you EHC does so the speedo operates properly.

I've been through 10 speedo's now but my last one has been going strong now for several years. My bike came with the serial type connector but I recieved a new USB style last year in Sturgis so now the speedo powers up properly.

I noticed your speedo sweeps a lot faster than my speedo. I still have the original on my 05 ridgeback.

I'm curious what problems/issues other people are having that's caused by this?
