speedo

i have a '03 bulldog and the speedometer don't work. lights up but dont move when driving. can some one please help me with what could be wrong or if i need to get a replacement? if replacement is necessary is there any manufacturers out there with a direct plug and no splicing of wires?

Check the speed senser. Heard sometimes that will mess with the speedo. As for a replacement if necessary, seems everyone goes with the Dakota Digital. Plug and play.

My Speedo quit on mine,just before my EHC did. Went with Blue Dakota Digital, really like it.

my speedo just went out also! I checked out everything from a electrical point of view like volts and ohms. It comes on and resets its self but every once in a while it will come on and work but goes out. I just ordered another one from ebay, someone called bdpartsking@yahoo has several BD parts for sell and paypay rates him a 4star. I just paid $212.00 for one just like the one that came with the bike. Wish me luck!!!
