Your speedo doesn't have a tach!! :whoop:

If you start the bike up and the let it idle under 950 rpm will all the lites start flashing? If not then you have have lost one half of the board and will need to replace it.

Yeah I meant tach oops when it below 950 all lights will blink. I have idle set to where that won't all blink. Around 1000 rpm

Yes, it's a warning for you to turn up the idle. I just suggested it to verify the lites beyond 3000 rpm actually work. If not then you just order the board.

Since they all blink when below 950 but won't go past 3000 when riding is the board bad or has a wire inside mayb come loose like I read in other threads

Are you saying you verified the lites work when the idle gets low?

The wires breaking inside is in reference to the speedometers. The Tach board isn't or doesn't have such problems as I experienced.

yes i turned the idle down and all the lights came on. i'll check all the wires tonight when i get off work. i just got the bike in march and only have been able to put a 1000 miles on it because of bad weather and work. i'm going to check out the whole bike because i might ride up to the big dog open house with neil :2thumbs:

Check the cam or crank sensor for excessive build-up on the end of it. It sounds like the sensor may be getting weak or dirty if not other electronics issues. The sensor can pick-up low RPM signals but as the RPM gets over a certian point the signal pulse frequency gets too high and the sensor drops out.

When you start up the speedo needle jumps up and down.
Replaced Speedo and still moves all around when you give it gas. Once you start moving Speedo will register mph. again once you stop speedo acts like the rpm gauge. Any suggestions?

Get your EHC flashed. Search it here or see my vid in the "General" section on it. It may fix it for you.
