Thanks Alan. The deeper I look into my bike the more I believe It is BS that my Dog had only 800 miles when I bought it last year.

One more question if anyone read this... it is about the speedo;
When I turn the key on it goes through three sequences
1. 0060800
2. Trip meter
3. 2400 (my current mileage)

QUESTION: What the first set of displayed digits are??? :confused:

Thanks :cheers:

PS: I did to find info related to this matter in the Forum but I could not find it.

Franco, mine does the same thing, it goes to 40,000 something, the needle goes to sixty and back to zero

The 40,000 something is the pulse count that adjusts the speedo to the tire diameter so it reads the correct miles and speed.

Franco, I think there would be signs of wear on your bike if it had more than 800 miles, such as small pittings or nicks on your forks and controls and possibly srapes on the frame, I hope that isn't the case
