this doesn't always work, sometimes it's just time to replace it.that is a calibration code, they all do that. if your speedo does not work after that, it normally means that your battery is not quite up to snuff. if you can ride the bike for, say, 10 miles and turn it off, then crank it up and it works, you have a low battery. do you keep the battery on a tender?? it should be. the big inch takes about 20 miles of steady riding to replace the draw of starting the motor if your charging system is in good shape.
I just replaced mine last year with a Dakota DigitalMy tach doesn't work either. The speedo lights up odometer works, oil, N, and turn signals work but no speedo and no tach.
