I've got an issue with my speedo... after I had it dyno'd, the speedo read 90 like if it was 0 (i.e. with the bike off, it's sitting at 90, will do its sweep to straight down and then goes back to 90).
Initially the speed would still read from there... but last week it started to just flop around and not read a damn thing, but the odo and trip are still reading as well as the RPMs.
I thought it was my EHC that was going out again (it wouldn't start and the lights wouldn't turn off)... but after it's been hooked up to the tender, it starts right up.
I've been contemplating a Dakota Digital speedo, but I don't want to get one and it end up being something else that's wrong with the bike. Anyone know what connections and where to check for before I toss a new speedo at it?
