speedo meter stop working

I have a digital speedo meter and it stop working. the RPM is working fine and the lights are working too.

any help is appreciate

I recently had the same with my Dakota Digi. Sometimes it would work, sometimes not. After checking all grounds (twice) I ordered a new speedo sensor and all was well. Mine is direct from sensor to speedo as I have no EHC so tracking the problem was easy. If you still have your EHC, the standard troubleshooting tips about checking the plugs, cleaning them, dielectric grease, etc... all apply.

I have a wire plus install. Can you show me where is the sensor located

Hey easy, its on the right hand side of the bike, on top of the transmission. I don't think they go bad too often so I made sure to check everything before ordering mine. Wasn't cheap either, think I paid about $60.

I have had them where metal from the gears gets on the magnet....Try cleaning it and popping it back in

3 wires inside the speedo...have been known to break.
