Speedo doesn't work above 3 grand

Hey guys,
I haven't posted much because I've been sooooo busy.
The good news is I've been riding alot too:D

Many know I have an 07 Mastiff with 8000 miles on it.
Never had any problems with the speedo before.
I was riding the dog other day and was running hard
in 5th gear and noticed that it didn't go above 3 grand.
I hit 6th gear and noticed it did the same thing.
I guess I should have checked to see if it was doing
it in the lower gears too...:rolleyes:
I don't think that it's doing it in the lower gears though.
Anyone else experience this problem?

I guess it's time to see the dealer....
I've also got a sissy bar recall to do and
my side covers are broken and melted:job:
I just hate to give up the dog with the decent
weather that Ohio is finally having.

Just call them up and tell them to go ahead and order the side covers and sissy bar. Stop by and have them run the test on the speedo or tach. Perhaps it does not have the tach update in it. They can order that as well and call you when everything is in. Minimize your downtime. It won't take long to replace those items anyway. Waiting on them to come in may take a while though....
