Speedo Dead?

WTF it was working fine this morning. I was in the wiring for a flaky right
tail light but didn't touch the speedo wiring. NOW the needle is stuck at 40.

I need to recheck my work is what you are saying. I'm saying I didn't work on it. Yeah, but I did and I may have wired in something to something else. I'd undo my flake, go back to flaky and see if the speedo drops to 0 and when you ride it reads ok.

Those may well be connected, as Sven said. I didn't have idiot lights when my rear blinker was shorted...

My issue was at the tail light, that I knew. I had to trim the wire and re-solder, heat
shrink the connection where it got into the rear tire. It was the right tail light and
only one wire. had nothing to do with the speedo but it's like there is no power to it.

I hope it's not the EHC going crazy.

I am dying to find a wiring schematic for an 03 Chopper. if anyone finds one
please SCREAM at me.
