Speed

Had the dog up around 130mph yesterday. I say about because I was at 4 grand at @120mph pegged and went to 4.5. I have a mastiff, very stable at high speed, mastiff's laid out like a drag bike long and low for stability at high speed. I'd say might top out @ about 160 or so, won't attempt that untill I do a tear down over the winter and bring her out in the spring.

This is worth noting; I have a 10 mile straight run of 4 lane highway near my home that has very little traffic.

FYI, my 2008 Ridgeback does over 130. I'll have to see what she can really do one day!

I have a friend that has a Busa and I jumped on him on a long straight away. I was wide open, he said we were going 138mph......of course he was only in 3ard gear. The dog didn't have much left in it.

I had my mastiff to 169.7 ......confirmed on GPS...that's where it hit the rev limiter at around 6600 or 6800 or whatever they're set at.........i got in a grudge/pissing match with a couple of guys on rice burners....one on a ninja 600....went past him in the top end of 5th gear and kept on pulling him, the other guy was on a R1 yamaha....went past him and then hit the rev limiter....thought it blew up!.... fastest i've ever been on a bike at the time....since then, I have been 195-200MPH on my ZX-14.....but that bike is built for high speed....

I can't run my K-9 over 135mph.....just too unstable...it would definately hit 150+ if you could stay in it and it not get squirrley....

Damn 169mph! Thought it would be about 160. I'll probably do it one time just because.

Wow, that's faster than my Triumph Daytona 675 in the mid 150 to 160 mph range!:2thumbs:

I believe I would have to take my Ridgeback to a smooth track to find out it's top speed. Something to look forward to in the future.

Been 115 on ridgeback...had alot more , just dont trust avon tires anymore. 169! unbelievable!
