Spark plugs

I use whatever fires the fucking bike up, keep it simple stupid. Been using Harley brand which I think are just overpriced champion plugs because Harley stamped them.

You guys may know better but the Big Dog mechanic here told me the enrichner will kill a plug. He said use it to fire it up then turn it off and throttle it up to warm it up. I don't know if true or not but there it is

I don’t use the enrichener at all. Two twist of the throttle works every time for me when cold, and just fires right up when already warm.

Good advice, some only have to twist the throttle, all bikes are a little different. What ever works for yours, stick with it.

We didn't in my buddies ram. Maybe upper single digits.

My 10' Ram has a 5 speed tranny and the newer ones have 8, that makes some difference, but I have found over the years of running the 95 corridor on the East coast that 65-70 or 70-75 or 75-80 will make a big difference in gas mileage. Once I ran it at 80-85 pulling a 7.5 x14 trailer with the bikes in it at about 4200# total trailer weight and it was right under 8mpg. I prefer to drive at night when there's little to no traffic and I have gone from above Jacksonville into South Carolina without having to kick it off cruise control at 75-78mph.

I special order my ram has different gears then factory and I got a 32 gallon tank instead of 25 and had engine retuned mine isn’t factory at all

That's true, there is only one truck worthy of such a task when it comes to the Big Dog

That's what I was thinking when you said about $4 of gas, I use that much from red light to red light when I take the HellcatEspecially when the tires are smoking the whole time.

Yup, in winter enrichener on for no more than 15 seconds... then enrichener off and I leave it running for 2 - 5 mins @ 1500 rpm with the throttle lock before taking off.
